Can I use a laptop to connect internet to the nintendo ds browser instead of a wireless router?
That would work if you have a Wi-fi USB connector attached to your laptop. Nintendo made one, its called (creatively) the Nintendo Wi-Fi USB Connector, but I wouldn't recommend it. I had one once, and it was full of bugs. Its not very reliable and when you first connect, you have to physically grant the DS/Wii access through your laptop. And speaking of that, It only works with a DS/Wii, so it's not worth the $35. you should buy a $35 router that has a 100ft range as opposed to the Nintendo USB adaptor, which has like a 40ft range.

how do you get your wireless connection to work for the nintendo ds?
like i have a connection, but it says the security options aren't compatible with nintentdo.
You need to check the settings of your router and pput them into the DS. Check the type of security you have on your nrtwork and set this accordingly by putting in any passwords you have.

well i really want a dsi for christmas the main reason is for the internet. but i dont have wifi so i was wondering how does a nintendo ds wifi connector work? do i need wifi for it? do i need to pay for something else for it to work? will it work out side my house (like in an airport or different state)? do i need to download something else for it?please help me!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well, for starters, you need to know if there's a wireless connection in your location aka a router that's outputting internet signals. Places such as Starbucks and Airports offer free wireless connection points where you can connect onto their server. If you don't have a wireless connection near you, you'll have to create it. If you don't already have an ISP (Internet Service Provider), you'll have to get one, install/setup a router, then you'll have wifi. If you have a computer connected to the internet through an ethernet cable, you can always buy the USB cable that connects your DS to the computer and access the internet that way.
PS: The PSP is kewl. It's more of a hardcore gamer's handheld. =P

Does a regular wifi usb adapter work for a ds/psp etc...?
I want to be able to use my nintendo DS and possibly in the future a nintendo Wii console in my room with wifi. I have a wireless network and range booster but it cuts short RIGHT AT the location I need. So I know I should get a wifi usb adapter for my laptop but I was wondering if I can just get any namebrand wifi usb adapater. Will it work the same or do I HAVE TO get a Nintendo Ds Wifi Usb Adapter? Im so clueless 
Nope, you will probably just need to get the USB WiFi adapter for your laptop. It will work with the DS and PSP.
